DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGE TO REDUCE TRAVELLERS STRESS.
Following a successful brands refresh via global advertising giant, McCann World Group, Tiger Airways asked Best. Design to Life to then fly in an effective directional signage solution.
First up, we delineated the potential interaction possibilities between common human attributes such as cognitive mapping and spatial skills and environmental and ambient factors. Then we laid down clear navigation pathways using helpful visual directional signage elements strategically positioned throughout terminals at 11 airports around the country.
Putting the brand design to good ergonomic and intuitive ‘real world’ use, large crowds of travellers can now use the directional signage to find their way more easily, reducing anxiety, fatigue and frustration.
